I’M A VIRGO: PARKING TICKETS & HERO ANIMATION
Parking Tickets is a show-within-a-show featured in Boot’s Riley’s Amazon series I’m a Virgo. I was hired by the artists at Mystery Meat Media in Oakland, CA to set the show’s style and design of all of its characters. Later, these designs were printed and cut out and animated using stop motion animation.
HERO ANIMATION
The “Hero” character in I’m a Virgo is both a crime fighting vigilante as well as a comics and media mogul. In the world of I’m a Virgo, he has his own line of comics and television series.
I boarded, designed, and animated this 9 second clip, mimicking the style of a 90s-Saturday-morning-cartoon like X-Men the Animated Series. It can be seen in episode 1 of I’m a Virgo.
